Creative dates make it easier to actually connect

I like dates where the activity gives the conversation somewhere to go. You can talk, joke around, compare what you made and laugh when it looks nothing like the idea in your head.

A creative date also leaves you with a memory that feels specific to the two of you. The finished thing might be imperfect, but that is part of why it is memorable.

For me, connection gets easier when neither person is trying too hard to make the moment impressive.
