I like relationships where we can say the obvious thing

Good communication does not need to sound perfect. I just want it to be sincere enough that both people understand where they stand.

Saying what you enjoyed, what bothered you, or what you need can feel vulnerable, but guessing tends to create more problems.

I think directness can actually make a relationship lighter. Once the important things are clear, there is more space to relax and enjoy each other.
